MOORE METHODOLOGY
Computer implemented digital composition which, also, creates a new genre, genre fusion, as well as remixes, mashups and genre bending is an invention accidentally created from an experimental idea from 2014 and it has been used in classrooms since, at least, 2018.
The ‘763 Patent claims a computer-implemented method (“the Moore Methodology”) of digital music composition and, more particularly, relates to a method that selectively modulates the instruments and rhythmic patterns of two or more separate donor multi-genre musical tracks, and integrates the donor musical tracks into a host musical track having its own genre, so as to create a combined digital multi-genre musical composition track.
This methodology not only creates a new genre, genre fusion, but it allows for new compositional creativity and self-expressions from many perspectives within one specific genre or it creates subset genres for those excluded from the mainstream established genre. Again, the MM is all inclusive to create a greater and more artistic society while it offers musical disciplines not known to the general public.
This process of digital composition contradicts the traditional manner of composition which states that music is composed in a specific formula which adheres to musical theories. The Moore Methodology allows for music composition that will overcome the clashing chords that musical theory is designed to prevent; thereby, allowing for digital manipulation to correct what theory says is uncorrectable.
In summation, the Moore Methodology allows one to actually go against the structured rules of composition of following chord progressions and key signatures, designed to prevent errors that are impossible to correct in real-time, to be able to go into a session with the conscious intention of making these errors of clashing chords with no initial concern for key signatures and to be able to fix their errors through automation manipulation within the digital composed composition. The Moore Methodology is not an abandonment of traditional musical practices but a method that allows one to compose first and then learn the theory behind the composition, which is opposite of traditional composition where one learns theory first and compose afterwards.
Some trademarks are available for licensing with the use of the Moore Methodology in either the music educational, music performances or music production for a time period mutually agreed upon and this agreement is not transferable nor can the licensee license out the property of CUSP Enterprises, LLC. Licensing agreements are not with individual persons. All infringements rights will be enforced.
